Summer Courses 2024 Universidad Complutense de Madrid: GROUND IMPROVEMENT APPLICATIONS TO INFRASTRUCTURES.

As in previous years, AETESS sponsors this course on "Applications of soil improvement in underground works" included in the program of this summer 2024.

The objective of this course is to present to the university the existing methods and the advances made both at the level of design and execution of different geotechnical actions for the construction of infrastructure works, promoting technology transfer and an exchange of knowledge. Different actions include the application of different execution technologies, different types of design, etc., presenting an exhaustive review of the latest developments. The use of traditional techniques for the foundations of different works is presented, as well as the developments of alternative and modern techniques. The proposed course aims to give a global vision of the fundamentals of the most widely used engineering techniques. For this purpose, there are university professionals of recognized prestige, public administration and consulting professionals, and professionals from companies specialized in execution.
