Participation of AETESS in the XI National Symposium of Geotechnical Engineering. Mieres 2022

Last Friday, May 27, on the occasion of the closure of the XI National

Symposium of Geotechnical Engineering held in Mieres, AETESS presented

the paper "Analysis of the safety of work platforms in geotechnical works", by Gustavo

Armijo, Coordinator of the AETESS Technical Committee.

Likewise, the AETESS Prize to the best paper presented at the Symposium in the field of applied geotechnics was also awarded.

It was decided that the article "Shaft resistance of piles embedded in rock: state of the

art", signed by José G. Gutiérrez-Ch, Salvador Senent, Svetlana Melentijevic and Rafael

Jiménez, was the winner, among other reasons, for dealing with a complex subject,

closely related to the activities of the AETESS companies, with a wide and well

implemented bibliography.

The award, made up of a commemorative plaque and a financial

contribution, was given by our president, Rafael Casado.
